During the month of June, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and local agency partners will host two anonymous fireworks buyback events to enhance community safety.

Pancake Breakfast

The Central County Firefighters are excited to bring back our annual pancake breakfast which fell wayside since the pandemic. The date is set for Saturday, May 31, from 8 AM to noon, and will be held at Station 34, 799 California Drive in Burlingame. We are looking forward to putting on the event this year benefiting the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation (aarbf.org).

The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for burn survivors and to promote burn prevention.  AARBF staff do some of the most incredible work with programs such as Champ Camp, Adult Survivor Family Camp, Young Adult Summit, support groups, and other special events including holiday parties, amusement park outings, ski trips, barbecues, picnics, sporting events, and fishing derbies.
